What is the SMART Program?

The SMART program is a 12-week games career accelerator program delivered from a co-working office space located within the City of Melbourne. The program also includes public events that are hosted throughout City of Port Phillip.

This career development initiative is designed to create career pathways for aspiring game developers and provide equitable access opportunities to those currently underrepresented in the Australian game development community.

The program includes the following key components:

·        Professional development workshops;

·        1on1 career coaching sessions;

·        Mentorship by industry leaders;

·        Learning outcomes based rapid product prototyping projects (Game Jams);

·        Co-working alongside other City of Melbourne based game development studios; and

·        Key upskilling-focused networking events across City of Port Phillip.
