Conditions of Sale & Entry Applicable to all Ticket Holders:

By purchasing this ticket and attending The Event you release and indemnify The Organiser (and their employees, contractors, officers and agents) from and against any claim or liability of any nature in relation to damage, injury or death, from you or any third party regardless of how the damage, injury or death is sustained or caused (including when caused by the negligence or gross negligence of The Organiser or their employees, contractors, officers and agents).

By purchasing this ticket and attending The Event you also acknowledge that any property you bring to The Venue you do so at your own risk and you release and indemnify The Organiser (and their employees, contractors, officers and agents) from and against any claim or liability in relation to the loss of or damage to such property regardless of how the loss of or damage to such property is sustained or caused (including when caused by the negligence or gross negligence of The Organiser or their employees, contractors, officers and agents).

Ticket Holders must be over 18 years of age and must show valid Photo ID at The Events entrance bearing the same name as their Events Ticket. Security, venue staff and events staff have the right to ask you for additional verification of identity on request.

By attending The Event, Ticket Holders consent to being photographed and/or filmed by The Organiser and/or a representative of the Organiser for the use of promotional materials. These images and videos may be used for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, news media, advertisements, websites, and other digital or print marketing materials. Ticket Holders who do not wish to be photographed or filmed at the event should advise the photographer or camera person upon arrival.

All Ticker Holders are required to abide by the following Code of Conduct at all times.

CODE OF CONDUCT:

This Code of Conduct outlines expected behaviour as well as the consequences of unacceptable behaviour.

Expected Behaviour:

  • Be respectful, courteous and considerate to all attendees and staff

  • Harassment in any form will not be tolerated

  • Abuse in any form will not be tolerated

  • Alert staff if you notice unacceptable behaviour, a dangerous situation or a person in any form of distress.

Unacceptable Behaviour:

Unacceptable Behaviours include intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory or demeaning conduct by any attendees and staff such as:

  • Physical, written, verbal or other abuse including intimidation, threats, annoyance and stalking

  • Any boisterous, lewd or offensive behaviour or language, including but not limited to using sexually explicit or offensive language, materials or conduct, or any language, behaviour or content that contains profanity, obscene gestures, or racial, religious, gender, or ethnic slurs

  • Continued disturbances and disruptions

  • The use of physical force

  • Any behaviours which create apprehension in another person

  • Possession of any item that can be used as a weapon which may cause danger to others

  • Failure to obey any rules or regulations of The Venue

  • Harassment of any kind including but not limited to:

    • Offensive verbal comments or actions related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, religion, age, or physical appearance

    • Inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces (including presentation slides); deliberate intimidation, stalking or following; harassing photography or recordings; inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention

    • Sexual Harassment of any kind including but not limited to:

      • An unwanted sexual advance

      • An unwelcome request for sexual favours towards another person; or

      • Any other unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature that reasonably makes another person feel offended, humiliated and/or intimidated as a result of the act

    • Behaviours likely to be considered sexual in nature including but not limited to:

      • Requests for sex or repeated unwanted requests to go on dates;

      • Staring or leering

      • Unwelcome touching

      • Inappropriate advances towards another person on social media or in a digital space

      • Sexually explicit physical contact

      • Sexually explicit emails or SMS text messages

      • Sexually explicit pictures of posters and

      • Suggestive comments or jokes

Consequences Of Unacceptable Behaviour:

Unacceptable Behaviour will not be tolerated under any circumstance. Anyone asked to stop Unacceptable Behaviour is expected to comply immediately.

If a Ticker Holders engages in unacceptable behaviour, The Organiser may take any action they deem appropriate including expulsion from the conference without warning or refund.

What to do if you witness or are subject to Unacceptable Behaviour:

If you are subject to unacceptable behaviour, notice that someone else is being subject to unacceptable behaviour at The Event, or have any other concerns, please notify a staff member as soon as possible. For any Unacceptable Behaviour you wish to report confidentially please report it to The Safety Officer.

All reports will be kept confidential. In some cases, it may be determined that a public statement will need to be made. If that’s the case, the identities of all victims and reporters will remain confidential unless those individuals instruct The Safety Officer otherwise.

If you are unsure whether the incident is a violation, it is highly encouraged that you still report it. Reports that may be determined to not be a violation of the Code of Conduct will not be viewed negatively.
